Puppet Animation Festival 2020: Call for Work

We are looking for companies and artists who are interested in touring their work with us during our annual Puppet Animation Festival, 28 March – 18 April 2020.

Each Easter we present the Puppet Animation Festival: the UK’s largest and oldest performing arts event for children, with a programme of children’s puppet theatre, animated films, and workshops for audiences aged 3-12 all over Scotland. From the Highlands to the Borders, from the Hebrides to the Central Belt, participating companies present their work in a wide variety of venues: city centre theatres, urban arts and community centres, down to the smallest of remote rural village halls.

If you create productions or workshops for children using puppetry, object manipulation, or animated film, please get in touch with us, we’d love to hear from you.

We are particularly interested in programming work which caters for Scotland’s diverse communities and children, and which encourages equality and environmental awareness.

Deadline:  Monday 17 June 2019, 10am.

All applicants will be informed of a decision by the week commencing on Monday 24 June 2019.
