In October 2018 we welcomed Mayanne Soret onto the Puppet Animation Scotland team.
Mayanne moved to Scotland in 2017, after graduating with a BA in History of Art from University College London, where she had moved five years prior from her hometown in Burgundy, France. Since graduating, Mayanne has worked with a range of cultural institutions and entertainment media in the UK, France, the USA and Canada, working across a wide portfolio of digital content creation, writing and public engagement. Aside from her work at Puppet Animation Scotland, she co-runs the social media platform TabloidArtHistory and has edited and designed TAH VOL.1 and TAH VOL.2, the platform’s publications exploring the relationship of pop culture and the writing of art history. She occasionally writes on all things art and pop culture, and has produced events at Stills: Centre for Photography and DOK artist space.

We are delighted that Mayanne has joined the team and we look forward to delivering our next batch of festivals and projects with her.
