Puppetry, animation and visual theatre are all incredible tools for igniting the imagination, breathing life into the inanimate, and for bringing about some serious fun. On these pages you’ll find information about the ways that we work with communities across Scotland, and also free engaging resources for you to use at home to get your family creating and making.

Captivate

Captivate is our new engagement and participation programme, which will see us work with lead venue partners in targetted communities over a period of three to five years to deliver a bespoke programme of productions, screenings, workshops and co-creation projects in the areas of puppetry, animation and visual theatre.

Puppetry at Home

Get creative in your own home with our free puppetry tutorials for families, all available here on our website.

AnimATE

AnimATE is an intergenerational project through which families can explore their creativity together, both in the animation studio and the kitchen.

Puppetry & Emotional Resilience

Our puppetry and emotional resilience programme harnesses the subversive power of puppetry to raise levels of attainment and self-confidence among Scottish nursery, primary one and primary two school pupils.
